Reflecting on those days, she shares, “It was really hectic during that time. I worked over 50 hours a week with a newborn baby. But my body said, ‘It's too much, take a step back.’”
This pivotal moment led her to reconsider her lifestyle and embark on a new path, one that aligned with her values and allowed her to prioritize her well-being. The doctor's advice to slow down prompted Zulema to explore new avenues. “I always had a 9 to 5, always working hard. But I needed a change,” she adds. This decision marked the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey.

Navigating entrepreneurship
Zulema, already familiar with entrepreneurship, had previously created websites as a side gig. However, the decision to fully commit to her own business was daunting. “With a 9 to 5, you have a manager, you know there's work and a paycheck. Having your own business is a leap of faith,” she reflects.
However, fueled by a desire for autonomy and flexibility, Zulema embraced the challenge and embarked on a new journey as a trader and network marketer. She joined a U.S.-based company, becoming one of the first two members in the Netherlands to venture into network marketing.
Her mission? To introduce the Dutch market to the world of financial trading. “In the Netherlands, people don't know how their money can work for them. It's a small market. That is one of the exciting things about this - constantly providing people with new information,” Zulema explains. Through her business, Zulema seeks to demystify the financial market, empowering individuals to take control of their financial destinies.

Zulema acknowledges the initial resistance from some due to negative associations with the financial market. “Some people have a negative association with the financial market. They tell you ‘no’ a lot in the beginning. The need to push through isn't easy,” she admits.
Despite the initial setbacks, Zulema remained steadfast, leveraging her social media platforms to educate and inspire others. With a predominantly mom-centered team, she attributes her success to relatability and transparency, showcasing real-life scenarios on social media. “I use social media a lot to show people the growth of my team and the growth within my own finances. I'm really open and transparent in the situation that I live in.”
