Take debit or credit
Let Vev also handle the payments for your business. Securely connect with Stripe to accept any type of online or offline payments with your business. Popular methods for debit and credit cards such as Apple Pay, Google Pay are supported.
You can use any device you own as long as it has an internet browser. When you have an iPhone you can soon use Tap to Pay on iPhone.
Refunds are built-in
Depending on the cancellation policy of your business, customers can also get a manual or automated refund when needed.
Scan to Pay
A QR code will pop up on your screen to let customers pay with their own device. Business owners can then accept payments for the full amount, or settle the remaining balance if they already paid a deposit via Vev. For iPhone we also offer tap to pay.

Is Vev's POS system free to use?
Yes, and it will always stay free to use, too! This is the only way we can make sure that literally everyone can realize the dream of starting a business, and have a fair chance against the big companies out there.
We do offer Vev+, a paid version of Vev. If you are just starting out then you won’t need its features, but they might come in handy as your business starts receiving more and more orders. In fact, when you reach that point getting Vev+ is probably a no-brainer, when you don’t want to do a lot of admin at least.
Vev+ unlocks automatic tax reports, access to advanced customer data, and a bunch of other other things. But, again, Vev will always be free.
Can anyone start a business using Vev?
Yes, and we hope that everyone that wants to do so. Vev is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, with the idea of helping everyone to follow their dream without immediately going bankrupt.
You do need a name, and an idea of what you want to offer for sale. If you need the Vev Academy can help you for every step along the way, too. Guiding you from setting up your online store to getting your first order to selling out every day.
What payment methods are accepted with the point of sale software?
We work together with Stripe to facilitate online payments, one of the biggest payments providers in the world.
Because of this you will be able to accept almost any form of payment. Apple & Google Pay, debit & credit cards, Ideal, Bancontact to name a few. And if you are not sure whether your customers’ favorite payment method is supported, just shoot us a message and we will happily help you!
Can I set my own order policies?
That is completely up to you to set up. We did fill in some things based on what we saw successful entrepreneurs before you do, but you are completely free to change everything.
Order deadline, refunds and cancellations are your domain, you know best how you want to run your business.
